This morning, I decided to take a few notes about living my dreams. I thought this could be helpful to someone out there and so I decided to share.
An aspect of living your dream entails the following (not conclusive):
1.
Have a Plan.
A plan tells u what u want to do and what you do not want to do. It helps you remain focused and dedicated to your dreams and vision. It keeps you away from the distraction and It helps you manage time as well as your dreams.
2.
Sit down.
At this stage, you don't sit doing nothing. You estimate the cost and sacrifice to be made toward achieving your dreams; as well as the effort. You need to learn more and research more. This stage tests your faithfulness towards your dreams.
3.
Seek counsel.
The saying goes that nothing is new under the sun. You need to seek the counsel of people who have excelled at fulfilling similar dreams. There is a lot to learn from their mistakes. Most often we don't get to meet this individuals but you can help yourself by reading their biography or autobiography to avoid making similar mistakes.
4.
Take action.
Most people spend years planing and seeking counsel without actually taking-off. Learn to take visible and physical actions towards fulfilling your dreams. This gives you an opportunity to discover yourself, your strength and capacity. It also helps conquer the fear within and you begin a personal learning process.
5.
Re-assess your plan.
At this point, you have experienced certain gridlock and hitches in your initial plan. You assess the plan once more if it is still effective towards fulfilling your dreams at the right time or you need some modification or work at something more realistic and reasonable.
